Sebastien is a Toronto-based abstract artist working under the name SOAH. He uses intersecting lines to create dynamic and complex abstract forms, exploring the power of line to convey emotion and create a sense of movement and energy.

His work is characterized by intricate, overlapping lines that build abstract shapes and forms. He works in marker on paper, acrylic on canvas and original linocut, creating highly textured, layered compositions that invite the viewer to engage with the work on multiple levels.

In his most recent series, “The Nine”, a collection of 36 original works in marker on paper, Sebastien explores intersecting lines as a metaphor for human connection. Each piece features a dynamic interplay of lines, with abstract forms that seem to emerge and disappear as the eye moves across the page.
